Week 8 : Statistics on My Personal Sites
Spring is coming along the way. It's already March and almost getting close to the end of quarter!
On the first week of March's assignment, I am going to talk about my statistics on my personal sites I have participated so far. These sites include Facebook, Blog, LinkedIn and Twitter! Let's see one by one.
On Facebook, I have posted 2 times in January and 6 times in February, and this post is going to be the first post in March. Currently I have 27 friends. Most of them are Social Media Marketing course classmates but few of them are friends from the Facebook group I joined. Also, I joined one more public group which is "PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games."
Statistics are more interesting about my personal blog. Until now, 773 pageviews were made and I have 10 followers. The audience part is the most amazing. Total of 370 audiences came from United States of America which ranked the highest and it followed by Poland (210), Ukraine (50), Japan (14), Germany (7), France (7), and Peru (4). Also, when I looked at the pageviews by browsers, Firefox was the first in the rank with over 39%. This was quite surprising because in South Korea we mostly use Internet Explorer, however it was ranked 5th with only 1%. Also, by clicking the 'comments' section I found that there are total of 41 comments published by visitors.
About LinkedIn, my influencers are Bill Gates and Jeff Weiner. The companies I followed include Microsoft, LinkedIn, Google, Amazon, NASA, Starbucks, UCR, SpaceX, Apple, Netflix, Airbnb, and Instagram. The three groups I joined are Marketing (CMO + Social Media + Education + Digital), Social Media Marketing, and Movie Addicts. I was busy this week with other assignments so I couldn't check the notifications that can from the application but now I found that there are 48 new conversations going on!
Lastly, I am following 27 people (or organizations) and 16 people are following me in Twitter. I have been constantly tweeting about my blog when I wrote a new post. So, I have 8 Tweets! Among 27 followings, there are Social Media Marketing classmates and others, which include PyeongChang 2018, Travel + Leisure, Korean Air, Nat Geo Travel, Airbnb, Nat Geo Photography, Canon USA Imaging and so on.
When I think about the first time I began to write a post in a blog and used social media to interact, it wasn't that easy. Making it neat and organized required more time and I had to be careful about what I was writing. However, when I now look at the increasing number of followers and pageviews, I feel proud and right that I am on the right track. Those statistics make me really surprising and interesting!

Hey Mia, wow 773 pageviews is a great score, congrats ! I think you have a high pageviews because you always post interesting contents and on time so it's always great to check your blog !
ReplyDeleteAs Mathieu said I believe that the fact that you're consistant with your work and never late for publishing really pays and enable you to get such a score on your pageviews even though you'd have 27 friends on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteAnyway I still don't understand why you have 210 views from Poland?? Mathieu had this "issue" too and kind of same for me. I hope we will discover why before the end of the class.
Mia! WOW!!
ReplyDelete773 views!! I'm so impressed about it. Wish my blogs are the same!
